Registration for New Orleans Public Schools

Registration for schools in the Recovery School District began Monday, June 18, 2007.
Parents may register their children at the following locations:
The first day of school for the RSD will be Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 RSD schools are open to students from across New Orleans, and none has admission criteria. Parents won’t have to re-register students who will be returning to their current schools, but must return a form to the school stating their intentions for their children to return. Those wishing to transfer schools must re-register. Parents registering new RSD students should bring proof of address (such as a telephone or utility bill), their children’s Social Security card, birth certificate, immunization record, most recent report card and Individualized Education Program (IEP), if applicable.
